THE INTERNATIONAL REHABILITATION (IRC)

The International Rehabilitation Center (IRC) is a part of Dar EL Mona rehabilitation services. It utilizes advanced robotic and computer-assisted therapy devices that provide feedback and precise measurements for muscle strength, tone, and balance. The occupational therapy devices use virtual reality-based games and can be modified within each session based on the patient’s response. The center instantly shows recorded measurements data and allows for immediate comparison. The treatments offered aim to relieve muscle tension, spasms, and pain, increase joint mobility, and strengthen the body’s immune system. The first appointment at the center includes an assessment, examination of the presenting complaint, review of the root cause, and relevant medical information.

IRC philosophy: The IRC utilizes Neuroplasticity, allowing neural networks in the brain to grow, reorganize, and function differently. Interactive therapy games at the IRC enhance motivation, concentration, and repetitive therapy, leading to targeted changes in brain function.

The IRC philosophy

The IRC is based on the concept of Neuroplasticity which is the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization.

It is when the brain is rewired to function in some way that differs from how it previously functioned. These are best achieved at the IRC through interactive therapy games that increase motivation, concentration and ensure target-oriented repetitive therapy.

Rehabilitation Exercise

Rehabilitation exercises are used to regain full function after neurological or orthopedic problems, focusing on strength, flexibility, endurance, and power. The goal is to restore pre-injury levels of physical fitness and prevent future injuries. Different assessment methods are considered based on the individual’s function and expected rate of recovery. Dar El Mona uses a robotic and computer-aided rehabilitation device called IRC to select the appropriate measurement tool for each individual’s level of function. This device helps develop mobility, stabilize joints for specific strength training, and enhance return-to-function. It also records and documents relevant parameters and saves time by performing measurements in a sitting position. Dar El Mona Gym offers fitness equipment designed or adapted for people with disabilities.

Dar El Mona Emphasis on selecting the appropriate measurement tool according to the individual’s level of function as well as the need to measure the individual performance under different environmental constraints By using IRC ‘s robotic- and computer aided rehabilitation device.

A state of the art machine that develops the mobility that the patient requires, stabilizes the joint to perform angle specific strength training, strengthens using proven methods to enhance return-to-function and completes the return-to-function training.
A multifunctional system, it helps in the recording and the documentation of all relevant parameters.
As a whole-body measurement method, it unites several conventional back testing systems and saves the user a significant amount of time since all measurements are performed in a sitting position and it is not required to reposition the patient.
Our T bed with sensors network can get every single interactions therapist patient and can show it in real time on the Computer.
Dar el Mona Gym includes a range of fitness equipment that has been designed or adapted for people with disabilities. Included is equipment for upper and lower body.

Dar El Mona Emphasis on selecting the appropriate measurement tool according to the individual’s level of function. Also, the need to measure walking performance under different environmental constraints

Dar El Mona sate of the art therapeutic treatment and treatment monitoring system “The DIERS pedogenic & the CMILL” allows the functional representation of the foot pressure reaction forces while walking.

As well as gait parameters, such as step length, width, asymmetry and cadence. Obstacle avoidance performance, is also evaluated.
